Sally Jo Atchley's Obituary
Sally Jo (Millizer) Atchley, age 62 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa.
Sally was born to Lloyd and Anna Millizer June 28, 1951. Sally graduated from Seymour High School in 1969. She married Mitchell Atchley in 1976 in Lexington, Kentucky, where they made their home for thirty two years. Sally had recently moved back to Iowa to be close to her brother, Donnie Millizer. She was very active in the Tates Creek Christian Church Youth Group in Lexington, Kentucky. Sally had many friends she thought the world of.
Sally is survived by her brother, Donnie (Carole) Millizer of Plano, Iowa; a niece, Carrie (Brian)Strait (Alex and Isaac); nephews, Lloyd (Tammie) Millizer (Hunter, Hailey and Justin), Jay (Amanda) Millizer (Jaydon and Josyln), Wendell (Debbie) Millizer and family, Steve Millizer and family, Spencer Millizer, Linda Wishman and family, and Mike (Brenda) Munden and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Anna Millizer; her husband, Mitchell Atchley in 2007; brothers, Richard Millizer in 1988 and William Millizer in 2002.
A Celebration of Life Fellowship will be held at 12 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Plano Christian Fellowship Hall in Plano, Iowa. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the American Diabetes Association and may be given to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
