Sadie 'Pauline' Bennett, age 82, of Centerville, IA, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at her home in Maple Grove in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Guy P. and Cora (Hesseltine) Tracy on February 15, 1922 in Mystic, Iowa. She received her education at the Mystic Community Schools.On July 12, 1950, Pauline was united in marriage to Ray 'Sid' Bennett in Unionville, Missouri. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family very much.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Ray 'Sid' Bennett on January 4, 1982; step-son, Lonnie Bennett on January 14, 2003; sisters, Edna Bates, Delsie Watts and Edith Tracy; brother, Vaughn Tracy.Pauline is survived by her: step-son, Dr. Jeryl Bennett and his wife, Nancy of Jefferson City, Missouri; step-daughter-in-law, Pauline Bennett of Bettendorf, Iowa; 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at 10 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with her son, Dr. Jeryl Bennett officiating with burial to follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville, Iowa.
