Ruth Sconzo's Obituary
Ruth Sconzo, age 94 of Rathbun, Iowa died Sunday December 28, 2003 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
She was born March 21, 1909 at Clarkdale, Iowa the daughter of Mike and Anna Marie (Sirianni) Sconzo. She lived most of her life in Rathbun and worked at teh Palemoon restaurant. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church Rathbun, then St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville.
She is survived by a brother Mike Sconzo of Castro Valley, CA, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers Frank, John, Joe, Tony and sisters Jennie Scott and Mary Swab and her parents.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2PM Wednesday December 31, 2003 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Centerville with Fr. Joe Miller officiating. A Rosary Services will be held at 7 PM Tuesday evening at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville.
