Ruth Beal Parcel's Obituary
Ruth (Beal) Parcel, age 74 of Brazil, Iowa passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Chariton Nursing and Rehab Center in Chariton.
Ruth Irene Parcel was born March 14, 1940 to George McVey and Frances Henderson in Centerville Iowa. Ruth attended Brazil Country School through 8th grade and then completed her education at Centerville High School.
In October 1960 she was united in marriage to Thomas Beal. They had four children Ruth Ann, Myra, Roy, and Austin. She later married William Parcel in 1992. She enjoyed her family very much. She also enjoyed playing bingo, collecting dolls, going to rummage sales, and fishing.
She is survived by her children Ruth Ann (Ron) Arnold of Chariton, Myra Beal of Centerville, Roy Beal of Brazil, Austin (Kim) Beal of Brazil. Six grandchildren Aimee Stewart and Ed Stewart of Chariton, Elizabeth (Ross) Merritt of Seymour, Thomas Beal of Brazil, Ashley Beal of Centerville, and Kathleen Beal of Centerville. Five great grandchildren John, Erin, and Bryn Merritt of Seymour, Alyvia Beal of Brazil, and Kinley Beal of Centerville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her first and second husbands.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30PM Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Highland Cemetery, Mystic with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. A memorial has been established to the family of Ruth Parcel and may be left at the Lange Funeral Home & Crematory, Centerville. Condolences may be left at www.langefh.com.
