Ruth Olive Fincher, age 97, of Moulton, Iowa, died Saturday, September 16, 2006, at Centerville Nursing & Rehab Center in Centerville. She was born in Fremont, Ohio on March 18, 1909. She received her education in a Rural Ohio country School.On August 31, 1970, Ruth was united in marriage to Homer Edison Fincher in Lancaster, Missouri. She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Homer Fincher on September 24, 1978; daughter, Gertrude Henzie and Ileane Ribar; brothers, Clyde Stiger and Carl Stiger.Ruth is survived by: her sons, Charles Amsbary and his wife, Janet of Waterloo, Iowa and George Ribar and his wife, Liz of Reading, Pennsylvania; daughter, Margaret Fincher of Moulton, Iowa; brother, Raymond Stiger of Ohio; Eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at 11 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa.
