Russell Wayne Shuey's Obituary
Russell Wayne Shuey, age 71 of Centerville, formerly of Arizona, passed away on March 8, 2026 at MercyOne in Centerville.
Russell was born on August 27, 1954 in Fort Worth, Texas to Don and Wanda (Hendrick) Shuey. He graduated schools in Forgan, Oklahoma. After high school he joined the United States Navy, where he served our country faithfully before behind honorably discharged.
Throughout life Russell enjoyed sand railing with his buddy, Randy Piper in Arizona in the mountains.
Russell is survived by his wife, Debra; daughters, Kasha Foret and Kayley Amway; stepsons, Tracey Ellis and Shane Ellis; a sister, Donna (Kyle) Hayes; brother along with numerous grandkids, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jerod Shuey; brother, Randy Shuey; and his parents.
There will be no services at this time. Memorials have been established to the family and can be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home ATTN: Shuey Family 501 N. 18th Street Centerville, Iowa 52544.
