Russell E. Moore's Obituary
Russell (Russ) E. Moore of Melrose, Iowa died Friday, September 21, 2012. Russ was born March, 3 1955 at Centerville, Iowa the son of DeWayne and Mable Moore. He married Stacy Vance June 30, 1984 at Moravia, Iowa.
Russ and Stacy enjoyed their years living in Texas and Vermont. Russ loved spending time outdoors, enjoying his favorite activities, boating, riding motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
Russ had two daughters Annie and Emily. Russ spent a lot of time at sporting events for his daughters. He always had a twinkle in his eyes, when he talked about them. He was very proud of them and all they have accomplished and loved them very dearly.
Russ is survived by his loving wife Stacy, and daughters Annie and Emily of Melrose, Iowa; father DeWayne Moore of Melrose, Iowa; brother Chuck and Connie Moore of Melrose, Iowa; sister Jan and Mike Carney of Centerville, Iowa; brother-in-law Mark and Teresa Vance of Altoona, Iowa; sister-in-law Michelle Vance of Albia, Iowa; mother-in-law Merrily Townsend of Blakesburg, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mable and brother-in-law Craig Vance.
