Ruby VanToorn's Obituary
Ruby Beatrice (Orfield) VanToorn, daughter of Oscar and Annie Orfield was born December 24, 1919 in Decatur County and passed away October 31, 2011 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon at the age of 91 years, 10 months, and 7 days. Ruby married Roy VanToorn on September 17, 1938 and two children were born to this union, Bennie Louis VanToorn and Beverly Louise (VanToorn) Christian. Ruby lived most of her life in Wayne County and enjoyed being a homemaker. She was proud of her grandkids and great grandkids as she watched them grow up. Her memory will be cherished by her children Bennie VanToorn and wife Kahla of Willow Park, Texas and daughter Beverly Christian of Allerton and her grandchildren and great grandchildren Doug, Brandi, Hannah, and Seth Christian of Allerton, Ron, Fran, and Austin Christian of Osceola, Scott, Cole, Cade and Laney Christian of Corydon, Mark, Dawn, Sydney and Camryn Christian of Corydon, Nicole VanToorn of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Darek, Melissa and Aaron VanToorn of Ft.
