Ruby L. Frame, age 102, of Plano, IA died Friday, October 17, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center Long Term Care in Centerville, IA. She was born the daughter of Harry and Theodosia (Pollard) Robison on December 2, 1900 in Derby, Iowa. She received her education in Rural Wayne County schools.Ruby was united in marriage to Joseph Edward 'Ed' Frame on April 20, 1919 at Russell, Iowa. She was a homemaker and a 90 year member of the New Providence Baptist Church at Confidence, Iowa.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Ed Frame on May 22, 1991; two sons-in-law, Carrollton Ewing and Ed Carpenter; three sisters, Cleo Nussbaum, Lillie Mosbey and Gertie Kinsman and four brothers, Clarence, Raymond, Paul and Ted Robison.Surviving family members include: two daughters, Doris Ewing of Corydon, Iowa and Donna Jean Carpenter of Centerville, Iowa; one son, Lowell Frame and his wife, Merilynn of Confidence, Iowa; one sister, Marie Austin of Julesburg, Colorado; six grandchildren, Connie Riemer and her husband, John of Hinsdale, IL, Kay Fry and her husband, Tom of Corydon, IA, Ted Ewing and his wife, Judy of Russell, IA, Charles Carpenter and his wife, Linda of Corydon, IA, Donald Carpenter and his wife, Cindy of Fayette, IA and Dennis Carpenter and his wife, Kathy of Middle Amana, IA; thirteen great-grandchildren and sixteen great-great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the New Providence Baptist Church in Confidence, Iowa with Rev. Dale Shadonix officiating. Burial will follow in the Confidence Cemetery in Confidence, IA.Public visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, IA.
