Ruby C. Brown's Obituary
Ruby C. Brown, 98 1/2 years of Fort Collins, Colorado and a former Centerville, Iowa resident, died on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at her home in Fort Collins. She was born the daughter of James William and Tiny Bell (Garner) Benge on October 15, 1909 in Trenton, Missouri.On October 13, 1935, Ruby was united in marriage to Morris William Brown in Centerville, Iowa. She worked in the Hardware Manufacturing as a packer. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting, latch-hooking rugs with her husband Morris, and playing cards with friends and spending time with her family.She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband of 52 years, Morris W. Brown on September 12, 1987; sisters, and one grandson.Ruby is survived by: her daughter, Barbara A. Miller of Centerville, Iowa and her son, James W. Brown from Loveland, Colorado; six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2008 at 10 am at the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ruby C.
