Rosie Jennings' Obituary
Rosie Jennings, 58, of Corydon, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines on December 3, 2017 due to heart complications. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Verl and DeLoris (Clark) Mattly as well as several sisters and brothers. She is survived by her beloved husband of 25 years, Joesph; son, Joseph Jr. "Buddy" and daughter, Jennifer all of Corydon; sisters: JoAnne (Perry) Nugent of Humeston, Jeannie Peterson of Missouri and Gail (DeWayne) Hacker of Corydon; brothers: Stephen (Linda) Mattly of Florida and Thomas (Judy) Mattly of Des Moines. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosie was a loving wife and mother. The family enjoyed spending time together taking long walks, going fishing and sharing camping trips. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Corydon Cemetery. Following services, the family will gather at the community building in Walden Park in Corydon where a pot luck dinner will be held. Please bring a dish to share.
