Rosemary White's Obituary
Rosemary White, age 90 of Cincinnati, passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville.
Rosemary was born on May 29, 1931 in Unionville, Missouri, the daughter of Bine and Mary (Hayes) Veach. She was united in marriage to Delbert White, and to this union three children were born, Donna, Marcia and David.
Rosemary worked as a dietician at St. Josephs Mercy Hospital in Centerville for over 20 years. She made a huge impact on her colleagues throughout the years.
Rosemary was an amazing cook. She truly enjoyed cooking, especially for her family. She also loved gardening, reading, canning, mowing her lawn, and traveling.
Left to cherish Rosemarys memory are her children, Donna Dykes of Cincinnati, Iowa and Marcia (David) Christe of Melissa, Texas; her beloved dog, Harley; nine grandchildren, Liberty (Matt) Happel, Valerie White, Alisha White, Trevor White, Kaytee Gregson, Tyler Bride, Shannon (Andy) Kapinski, Aaron White and Caitlyn Christe; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Shahan of Rogersville, Tennessee; as well as several family members and friends that loved her and will miss her dearly.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Bine and Mary Veach; her husband, Delbert White; her son, David Mark White; a grandson, Scott Dykes; a great grandson, Alex Warnick; and siblings, Troy Veach, Terry Veach, Elaine Quigley, and Cindy Jones.
Graveside services will be held at 10AM, Monday, January 31, 2022 at Haines Cemetery, north of Centerville with Pastor Allen Cooper officiating. Visitation will take place Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, beginning at 12:00PM with the family greeting friends from 3-5PM. Memorials have been established to Donna Dykes or Marcia Christe, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, ATTN: White family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
