Roseann Baker's Obituary
Roseann Baker, age 46, of Centerville, Iowa, died Friday, June 17, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of John and Rose Ann (Garvin) Chrunka in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on October 20, 1964. She graduated from the Seymour High School in Seymour, Iowa in 1983.On March 29, 1986, Roseann was united in marriage to Greg Baker in Centerville, Iowa. She worked for a time at the Sewing Center in Seymour before becoming a full time mom and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, John Chrunka.Roseann is survived by: her husband, Greg Baker of Centerville, Iowa; sons, Joshua, Dalton and Shane Baker all of Centerville, Iowa; a daughter, Lacy Baker of Centerville, Iowa; her mother, Rose Ann Mattly and step-father, Earl Dean Mattly of Plano, Iowa; brother, Willie Geiger of Satellite Beach, Florida and step-brother, Terry Mattly of East Moline, Illinois; sisters, Wendy Carter of Davenport, Iowa, Sherry Butler of Richmond, Kentucky and Cindy Purdue of West Des Moines, Iowa; a step-sister, Kathy of Silvas, Illinois. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 11 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Jim Senior officiating. Burial of her ashes will follow at the Haines Cemetery north of Centerville.
