Rosalie Darlene Fowler, age 77, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Centerville Nursing & Rehab Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Clarence and Effie (Bennett) Leck on March 8, 1928 in Centerville, Iowa. She received her education in the Centerville Community Schools.On October 3, 1945, Rosalie was united in marriage to Leo E. Fowler in Centerville. They farmed together for many years south of Exline, Iowa and she also did Home Health Care work. She was a member of the Exline Christian Church and Farm Bureau.She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Leo Fowler on July 25, 2003; son, Samuel 'Raymond' Fowler; bothers, Cecil and Lester Leck.Rosalie is survived by: sons, Larry Fowler of Knoxville, Iowa and Ronald and his wife, Patricia Fowler of Wever, Iowa; daughters, Marilyn (Buban) Fowler, Patricia Fowler and Diane Walton all of Centerville, Iowa; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 1 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery south of Exline, Iowa.
