Ronnie 'Apache' Fredrick Clark's Obituary
Ronnie "Apache" Fredrick Clark, age 58 of Knoxville, Iowa, formerly of both Centerville and Davenport, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
He was born March 21, 1962, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Ernest and Carolyn (Hoke) Clark. In his formative years, Ronnie lived in Davenport, Iowa, where he attended HM Perry Elementary School and later, Frank L. Smart Junior High School. His family relocated to Centerville, where he then attended Centerville Schools.
Ronnie was employed with Country Village Animal Clinic in Centerville for eight years. He later worked with Victoria Rosencrants in Centerville training horses over a four-year period of time.
Left to honor Ronnies memory include his mother, Carolyn Clark of Moravia, Iowa; three siblings, Tina (Crae) Smith of Ottumwa, Iowa, Walter "Wally" (Shelia) Clark of Centerville, Iowa, and Earl Wayne (Reggie) Clark of Cincinnati, Iowa; his two very good friends, Bruce Sindt and Keith Foran both of Davenport, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and his two dogs, Whiskey and Road Trip.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Clark; his sister, Karen Clark; his paternal grandparents, Walter and Earthel Clark; and four uncles and two aunts on the Clark side of the family.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 PM, Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville. Due to the guidelines established by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 Virus, the attendance will be restricted to TEN people inside Lange Funeral Home at one time. Following the visitation, cremation will take place. A memorial has been established to Carolyn Clark, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
