Ronald L. Tisue's Obituary
Ronald L. Tisue, 90 of Moravia passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his home. Ron was born on September 20, 1926 in Rural Moravia to Gus & Leah (Clark) Tisue. He received his education from Moravia High School graduating in 1944. On August 4, 1952, Ron was united in marriage to Charlotte Marie Scott in Blair, Nebraska. To this union were three children, Daryl, Lanny and Janet. Ron spent his life as a farmer, whether it was caring for his cattle or his horses, he enjoyed every day spent on his family farm. In his free time, Ron was involved in Gideons Ministries and the Appanoose County Zoning Board and Trustees. Ron has been a member of Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church since 1951. Survivors include his wife Charlotte of Moravia, two children, Lanny Tisue (Rhonda) of Moravia, Janet Acheson (Rick) of Mystic, daughter-in-law, Karen Tisue of Omaha, six grandchildren; Tifini Foglesong of Davenport, Jaime Swan (Jeff) of Albia, Mel Tisue of Des Moines, Jennifer Russ (Jerome) of Des Moines, Jessica Graham (Nathan) of Des Moines, Jill Lange (Josh) of Ankeny and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Daryl Tisue and three siblings, Maxine Kaster, William Eugene Tisue and Hallien Stover. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville.
