I did not know Mr. Minear nor many named relative. However, who ever wrote his obituary did a fine job. It is one of the nicest I have ever read. My prayers for his entire family.

Ron was always good for a story. Something he inherited from his wonderful father. Both are gone, but their stories will live on in our family members. Thanks, Ron, for being a good man, a great uncle, and a pillar of strength for the MinearEdwardsBrandser families. Godspeed ole buddy.
I am from the Thomas side of the family, and Ron always treated me like his own. I had wonderful times with him and Auntie. Many laughs and lots of interesting stories he told. I even got to read one of his poems and was amazed. He and loved their fur babies with all their hearts. I enjoyed watching them fuss over them so! Sharing meals was always a treat. Boy can Auntie cook, and boy could Ron and I eat! I grew to love this man. I will miss him, until we meet again Uncle Ron....
