Ronald Mehrhoff's Obituary
Ronald William Mehrhoff, 76, of Corydon, passed away on February 3, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Des Moines. Ronald was born on October 21, 1941 in Cincinnati, Iowa to the late Paul and Edna (Houser) Mehrhoff. While serving in the United States Army, he married Vanita (Besch) on June 29, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas and to this union, three children were born. After being honorably discharged from the service, the family moved to Corydon where Ronald was a farmer for several years. Ronald was the ultimate jack of all trades. He was very handy and crafty and loved to tinker with anything he came across. Ronald is survived by his children: Ronald (Tonya) Mehrhoff, Jr., James (Connie) Mehrhoff of Corydon and Sheryl (David) Mehrhoff of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren: Johnathan (Whitney) Mehrhoff of Seymour, Brice (Affton) Mehrhoff of Waterloo, Curtis (Callie) Mehrhoff of Corydon and Tarren (Logan) Mehrhoff of Des Moines. He is also survived by his great grandchildren: Karsyn and Karleigh Merritt of Seymour, Remmie Mehrhoff of Waterloo and Jaxson Mehrhoff of Seymour. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vanita and infant brother, David Paul Mehrhoff. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Corydon Cemetery.
