Ronald Mack Irvin's Obituary
Ronald (Mac) Irvin, age 88 of Omaha, Nebraska died Sunday December 17, 2006 at Midland Hospital.
Mac was born July 25, 1918, the son of James and Emma (McGavran) Irvin in Centerville, Iowa. Mac was in the US Army from 1942-1945 and served in World War II. He worked for Peatman Plumbing for twenty years. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.
Mac is survived by a half brother; Glen Taylor, two daughters; Sondra Albertson, and Edy Russell, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his Aunt Mary Henderson, and his Uncle Dan and Helen Kepple.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Rev. Carl Heien officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville, Iowa. A visitation will be held Wednesday at the funeral home with the family present from 12-1:30 PM. A memorial has been established and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, IA 52544.
