Roger 'Rob' Ferguson Jr.'s Obituary
Roger "Rob" Ferguson Jr., age 40 of Derry, New Hampshire, formerly of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016.
Rob was born on August 18, 1976 in Farmington Hill, Michigan, the son of Roger Ferguson Sr. Rob went to Kellam, Virginia Beach schools and dated Kristy Liford throughout. In 1998, Rob and Kristy were blessed with a son, Theren Ferguson. In 1999, Rob joined the U.S. Army. In 2004, Rob and Kristy were blessed with another son, Aidinn Ferguson.
Rob met Amy Reinikainen in 2009. They were engaged shortly after, and were planning a wedding in the near future. Anyone who seen the two together, could see how truly happy they were.
He loved his family more than anything in the world. He enjoyed watching Michigans college football, as well as watching the Dallas Cowboys play. Rob loved music, fashion, and smelling the best in the room. He always made the biggest impression, no matter where he went or who he talked to. You couldnt help but love Rob.
Rob is survived by his fianc Amy Reinikainen of Derry, New Hampshire; his children, Theren and Aidinn Ferguson, of Grandy, North Carolina, and Ethan and Niomi Tosspon of Derry, New Hampshire; Theren and Aidinns mother, Kristy Liford of Grandy, North Carolina; father, Roger (Cheryl Duffey) Ferguson of Centerville; grandmother, Minnie "Mama" Ferguson; sisters, Kristian Ferguson of Detroit, Michigan, Candice Duffey of Centerville, and Kelley Liford of Detroit, Michigan; brothers, Dave "Tazz" (Gin) Duffey of Centerville and Derrick "Duff" Duffey of Centerville; as well as numerous friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Carl "Pap" Ferguson and his cousin, Michael "Cheek" Adams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 7:00 PM at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, with military rites conducted directly after the service. A visitation will take place on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 5-7PM. Memorials have been established to the family of Roger "Rob" Ferguson Jr., and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory , 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville.
