Roberta 'Bert' Buban's Obituary
Roberta 'Bert' Buban, age 70 of Centerville passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bert was born on July 3, 1946, the daughter of William Buban and LaVelda Campbell. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Centerville. She enjoyed ceramics, and being with her family, especially at family gatherings or birthday parties. She was also very fond of cooking. Her favorite item to make was Chop Suey.
Bert is survived by her siblings, Beverly Tosone of Centerville, Bill (Ruth) Buban of Mystic, Jim (Marilyn) Buban of Centerville, and Monique (Tom) Marvin of Centerville; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Buban; her mother Lavelda McIntire and her step father, Harlan McIntire.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Jack DePond officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with family present from 6-8 PM. Memorials have been established to the Roberta Buban Memorial Fund, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
