Robert L. Young's Obituary
Robert L. Young, age 82 of Centerville, Iowa died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at his residence in Centerville.
He was born June 5, 1928 at Clinton, Iowa the son of Kenny and Phyllis Young. He married Tina Aiello of July 4, on July 4, 1954 in Clinton, they met while both were working for Alcoa, Bettendorf, Iowa. Robert served 4 years in the US Army and 4 years in the US Navy. Robert was a hard worker and worked for over 20 for Clinton Foods, then Swift & Co in Clinton, then McDonalds RV Park at Rathbun, IA, In retirement he worked for the Centerville Schools as a bus driver and drove a food service van.
He is survived by his son Ronnie Young of Centerville, his brother-in-law Jim Aiello and wife Peggy of Clarkdale, Iowa, several nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife Tina, his parents, brothers Ora and Chuck, sisters Virginia and Sylvia.
Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Lange Funeral Home, Centerville with Fr. Dennis Schaab officiating. Burial will be in the Mt Ararat Cemetery with Military honors.
