Robert Don Warren's Obituary
On March 24, 1947 Junior and Bereneice (Kuntz) Warren were blessed with their first child, a son Bob. He was later joined by two sisters, Frances (Warren) Mattly and Kathy (Warren) Staggs. He departed this earth on September 15, 2015 at the age of 68. Bob graduated from Seymour Community School then began working for the Rock Island Railroad. He later retired from the Railroad. In his spare time, he loved collecting and working on old cars, reading and spending time with friends. Bob was married to Carol Anderson and to this union his greatest joy was delivered, his beautiful daughter Shanna. Bob and Carol later divorced. He is survived by his daughter Shanna Schroeder and husband Sonny of Albia, three grandchildren, Blake of Sigourney, Kennedy and Isaac of Albia, sisters; Frances Mattly of Madill, OK and Kathy Staggs of North Liberty, Iowa, aunts; Thomasene Shriver, Nancy Kuntz and her husband Randy, Linda Kuntz, Mildred McGonigle and uncle; Garold Lee and his wife Marilyn. Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother-in-law Steve Staggs and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Bob loved his three grandchildren and his face lit up every time he saw them or talked about them. He also loved his nieces and nephews, Sherry Lawrence (Doug) of Madill, OK; Kristi Nielson (Jeremy) of North Liberty; Shelly Clemens (Shawn) of Ada, OK; Susanne Mattly of Ardmore, OK; and Chad Mattly (Brittney) also of Madill, OK. He also found joy in his great nieces and nephews: Spencer Lawrence (Kelsey), Seth Lawrence, Jacquelyn and Zac Nielson; Brittany and Brooke Clemens, Brynlee, Havyn and Nate Nugent, and Chance, Kaitlyn and Nicole Mattly. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 10:30 am at the Powersville Cemetery in Powersville, Missouri. There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the Sewal Community Center. Memorials may be given to the McCloughan-Halfhill American Legion Post #379-Allerton.
