Robert F. Polson's Obituary
Robert F. Polson, age 86, of Centerville, Iowa, died Friday, March 8, 2013, at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Earl F. and Floss (Forsythe) Polson on January 16, 1927 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from the Lincoln High School in Des Moines, Iowa.On January 4, 1945, Robert entered the United States Navy and served his country faithfully until his honorable discharged on August 3, 1946. He was first united in marriage to Phyllis See in Des Moines, Iowa, they were later divorced. He worked for over 30 years as a printer for the Burroughs Company in City Of Industry, California. On July 27, 2007, Robert was united in marriage to Donna Harris in Centerville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Donna Polson on April 27, 2008; and a sister, Frances Nelson.Robert is survived by: his daughter, Debbie Peabody and her husband, Leeland of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and a son, Clifford Earl Polson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; also a sister, Erlyne Crossman of California; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.No services are planned at this time and burial of his ashes will take place at a later date at the Mt.
