Treva, I am so very sorry for your loss.. hoping you are doing better. As soon as I recover a tad more, I plan on coming to Homestad to visit all my friends and co-workers. Sorry I didn't get to talk before I left due to medical issues, had heart attack and they found a spot on my lung. Yes lung cancer had surgery on 8816. Sore still but may have this pain forever. See lung dr. On 20th, hope see you all before Christmas. Love and miss you, hope see you soon.

Our sympathy to Treva and family with the passing of Uncle Robert. You are all in our prayers as you go through this difficult time. It seems so ironic that Robert passed in the same week as mom did but two years later....we know that they are in heaven together now and talking about old times! I am Robert's cousin. My father George Geerdes was his mother's brother. My sister and I enjoyed visiting with Robert & Treva several times when they lived in Fort Dodge, Des Moines, and at the lake. I was so sorry to hear about him developing alzhemiers and then dying. As an RN, I have seen many times people suffer from that. I know that Robert is a Christian, and that he is now healed and in Jesus loving arms. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
