Robert Leroy Moore's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Leroy Moore, age 79, of Corydon, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Corydon Specialty Care.
Bob was born on April 8, 1944 in Red Oak, Iowa, the son of Harvey and Gladice (Hoyt) Moore. He was united in marriage to Doris, and to this union, two children were born, Thelma and Chrissy. They joined their siblings, Jacob and Teresa. The couple later divorced.
Bob worked at Shivvers in Corydon for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his family.
Left to honor Bob's memory are his children, Thelma Moore, Chrissy Moore, Jacob (Bob) Bravo, and Teresa Dudley; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Lacey, Kelsey, Shayla, Zayden, Anthony, James and Danielle; his great grandchildren, Liam, Nash, Ava, Aiden, Able, Asher, Brantley, Maylee and Gunther; two siblings, David (Penny) Moore and Mary (Steve) Willett; his ex-wife, Doris Moore; as well as several extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Gladice Moore; and his brother, Marvin Moore.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. Services will be announced in the near future, and military rites will be conducted at that time.
