Robert J. McElvain's Obituary
Robert J. McElvain, 58, of Numa passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at his home in Numa. Robert was born on June 25, 1955 in Centerville, Iowa to John Marvelle & Florence Darlene (Ryan) McElvain. He received his education from Centerville High School graduating in 1973. Robert was united in marriage to Debbie Parker. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to auctions. Robert loved to eat out at buffets with his family and friends. Robert was always willing to help his family and friends in any project they took on. Survivors include his wife Deb McElvain of Numa, three children: Rayko Young of Centerville, Robert J. McElvain of Numa, Skylar McElvain of Numa, four grandchildren: Hunter Marie Felkins, Kianna Mae Young, Karyle Jo Beth McElvain, Trinity Rae Young, mother, Darlene McElvain of Des Moines and his sister, Jane Ann (Bill) Mahon of Des Moines. A Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 4-5 PM.
