Robert Lloyd's Obituary
Robert 'RL' Lloyd, Jr., age 48, of Centerville, Iowa, died Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at his home in Centerville. He was born the son of Robert and LaDean (McCammant) Lloyd, Sr on December 25, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from the Putnam County Community Schools in Unionville, Missouri.Robert was employed for over 10 years at Shivers in Corydon, Iowa, then worked a Plant 3 for Vermer in Pella, Iowa before starting work at Barker Company in Centerville, Iowa. He loved being an Uncle to his niece and nephews and fishing his favorite fishing hole.He is preceded in death by: his Paternal and Maternal grandparents.Robert is survived by: his parents, LaDean Lloyd of Marshall, Missouri and Robert Lloyd, Sr. of Green Castle, Missouri; brothers, Richard Lloyd of Edinboro, Pennsylvania and Roger Lloyd and his wife, Stacey of Albia, Iowa; as well as a special friend, Velma Sales of Centerville, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11 AM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Jim Trinkle officiating. Burial will follow at the Lipp Cemetery near Green Castle, Missouri.
