Robert Lee "Bob" Gatrel's Obituary
Robert Lee 'Bob' Gatrel, age 73, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Centerville Nursing & Rehab Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Henry and Frances (Byers) Gatrel on November 4, 1933 in Seymour, Iowa. He graduated from the Numa Community Schools in Numa, Iowa in 1950.On March 27, 1966, Bob was united in marriage to Patricia Rodgers in Centerville, Iowa. Bob worked for a time for John Phillips doing Electronics and later went to work for Empire Gas Company making deliveries. He was a member of Drake Avenue Christian Church in Centerville. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Gatrel on October 4, 1992 and his mother, Frances Gatrel on February 13, 2006.Bob is survived by: his wife, Patricia Gatrel of Centerville, Iowa; his sons, Craig Gatrel of St. Petersburg, Florida and Mark and his wife, Tonya Gatrel of Waukee, Iowa; brothers, Ronald Gatrel of Avondale, Arizona and Gary Gatrel of Numa, Iowa; grandchildren, Ashley and Brennan Gatrel of Waukee, Iowa.A Graveside Memorial Service for his family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10 am at the Haines Cemetery north of Centerville, Iowa with Rev.
