Robert J Curtis' Obituary
Robert J. Curtis, age 55, of Centerville, Iowa passed away on August 19, 2023 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Rob was born on June 23, 1968 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Dennis Curtis and Beverly (Simatovich) Curtis.
He spent most of his adult life in Walcott, Iowa. In his early years, Rob worked for AI Fencing, and later worked for Randy's Flooring, out of Iowa City. He took great pride in his work, and was very good at everything he accomplished. Rob will be missed by many.
Left to honor Rob's memory are his father, Dennis Curtis; his aunt & caretaker for many years, Cheryl Watts-Curtis; a nephew, Steven (Malinda) and their boys Riley, Karsten, and Brantley; his best friend Vance (Kari); as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Rob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob (Mary) Curtis and John (Vy) Simatovich; his mother Beverly Curtis; his brother, Ronnie Curtis; and his sister, Renee Curtis.
Per Rob's wishes a cremation has been accorded. A Memorial Service for Rob will be held at a later date.
