Robert 'Bob' Ray Clark, age 45, of Centerville, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at his home near Centerville. He was born on January 19, 1964 in Centerville, Iowa to Don and Jean (Hoover) Clark. He graduated from Centerville Community High School in 1982.On June 27, 1983, Bob entered the United States Army and served his country until his honorable discharge on September 14, 1984 as a Private First Class. He farmed south of Centerville, and assisted several Amish families with transportation needs.He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Ray and Glenice Hoover and paternal grandparents, Robert D. and Helen Clark.Bob is survived by: his parents; Don and Jean Clark of Centerville, Iowa; sister, Donna Cox, (Nyle) of Centerville, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Ben Ritter, (Kristi), Shannon Wells, (John) and Mitzi Stice all of Centerville, Iowa, David Cox (Nolanne) of Oskaloosa, Bailee, Maddi, Hunter and Britian Cox all of Centerville, Iowa; great nieces and nephews, Shelbi and Peyton Ritter of Centerville, Iowa, Jesse Wells of Centerville, Iowa, Chad Stice of Centerville, Iowa and Deacon and Drake Cox of Oskaloosa, Iowa.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 on the family farm south of Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Carl Heien officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 2 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 9 am till the time of services.Memorials can be made in his name and left at the funeral home.
