Robert 'Bob' A. Clark's Obituary
Robert "Bob" A. Clark, age 93 of Centerville, Iowa, formerly of Lake Mills, Wisconsin passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Bob was born on July 18, 1925 in Wisconsin, the son of Morton and Olga Clark. He was united in marriage to Mildred Thorman on October 22, 1949. To this union, two children were born, Carol and David.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was an Iron worker for many years, until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was also a member of the Lake Mills American Legion in Lake Mills, Wisconsin.
Left to honor Bobs memory are his daughter, Carol (Dave) Johnson of Unionville, Missouri and Centerville, Iowa; four grandchildren, Dawn (Mike) Retallick of Story City, Iowa, Robert (Angie) Johnson of Woodman, Wisconsin, Rick Clark of Milton, Wisconsin, and Dianne (Randy) Gable of Hartford, Wisconsin; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morton and Olga Clark; his wife, Mildred Clark; and a son, David Clark.
A Memorial service will be held from 1-3PM, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Lake Mills American Legion in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. A graveside service will follow at the Rock Lake Cemetery in Lake Mills, with Military Rites provided by the Lake Mills American Legion. In Lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the family of Robert A. Clark, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
