Robert S. Brinegar's Obituary
Robert Samuel Brinegar, age 86, of Moulton, Iowa, died Friday, April 9, 2010 at his home near Moulton. He was born the son of Claude P. and Wilma (Carr) Brinegar on November 13, 1923 near Udell, Iowa. He graduated from the Moulton Community Schools in 1941.Robert was united in marriage to Wilma Kirby on June 28, 1944 in Udell, Iowa. He has farmed for over 75 years on the same farm west of Moulton, Iowa. He enjoyed looking at new farm equipment and seeing what was available for the next season. Later, he and his wife would take up Dancing, and would go anywhere for a dance. He was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren near Unionville, Iowa.He is preceded in death by: his parents; son, Tommie Brinegar; brothers, Earl Brinegar and Neal Brinegar; sisters, Felcia Eby and Freda Brinegar; great grandchildren, Zachary Brinegar and Noah Stockton; and a son-in-law, Allen Morlan. Robert is survived by: his wife, Wilma Brinegar of Moulton, Iowa; son, Larry Brinegar of Moulton, Iowa; daughters, Phyllis Morlan of Moulton, Iowa and Shirley Schlotter and her husband, Bob of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Deanna Brinegar of Moulton, Iowa; six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 11 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 from 1 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to Hospice of Central Iowa and can be left at the funeral home.
