Rick Tracy's Obituary
Rick Tracy, 63, of Centerville, passed away on February 13, 2018 at his residence. Rick was born on July 27, 1954 in Centerville to Bert and Donna (Goben) Tracy. While attending Centerville High School, Rick worked in the construction industry and after graduating in 1973, he and his brothers, Bruce and Gary decided to start their own construction company. Together they ran their company for 20 years. On March 9, 1992 Rick married Virginia "Ginger" Bright in Las Vegas, Nevada. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed gambling, spending time at the Eagle's Club and traveling. He of course loved spending time with his family also. Rick is survived by his daughters: Crystal (William) Mayer and Amber (John) Worley; brothers: Don (Lana) and Bruce (Jamie) Tracy; grandchildren: Christina Worley, John Worley, Jr., Kelly Sexton, Kelsey Sexton and Liam Mayer as well as his great grandchildren: Macie, Brendan, John, Scot and Robert. He is also survived by his wonderful caretaker and friend, Melissa Hargrave and many nieces and nephews. Rick was preceded in death by his wife, Ginger in 2010, parents and his brother, Gary Tracy. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Thomas Funeral Home.
