Richard L. Ousley's Obituary
Richard Ousley, age 56, of Centerville, Iowa, died June 15, 2007 at the VA Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter (Sapp) Ousley.
Richard was born June 28, 1950 the son of Walter (Sapp) and Marjorie (Sanders) Ousely in Centerville, Iowa. After high school Richard served his country in the US Marines Corp. He married Pamela Jean Johnson in August 1976. He's survived by his wife Pamela of Rock Island, Illinois. Three sons of that union, Richard Jr. of Davenport, Iowa, Angelo and Joseph both of Rock Island, Illinois; Three granddaughters and one grandson. He is also survived by his mother, Marjorie Ousley of Centerville, Iowa; an uncle, Richard Sanders of Des Moines, Iowa; four sisters, Geraldine Bennett and Cecile Barnes both of Des Moines, Iowa, Eloise Ousley of Denver, Colorado and Linda Ousley of St. Paul Minnesota. His gentle soul and kind spirit will be missed by a wealth of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends. We celebrate the short time he spent with us. Now he's home with the Father.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Reverend Joseph Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
