Richard L. Houser's Obituary
Richard L Houser of Corydon, Iowa died Wednesday September 26, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center, in Des Moines Iowa.
He was born December 28, 1958 at Centerville the son of Lester (Lee) Houser and Margaret Henderson Houser DaVolt. He graduated from Centerville High School and attended Indian Hill Community College. He married Jeannine Ewing in Corydon March 17, 2001 and she survives. He was self employed, his hobbies included remodeling furniture, and being an avid car enthusiast, restoring cars as he was well know for. Richard was very creative and artistic, creating out standing glass etching. He is survived by his wife Jeannine of Corydon, Iowa, stepfather Wallace (Junior) DaVolt of Centerville, Iowa 7 children Jeremy Bratz of Burnsville Minnesota, Austin Osborne of Centerville, Kerri and Tracy Ford of Kalamazoo, MI, Melanie Brundage and husband Cody of Powersville, Mo, Jessie Ewing of Corydon, Iowa, KD LaChapelle of Corydon, three grandchildren, Jaelyn Hagerstrom and RJ Hagerstrom of Indianapolis, IN, Marleigh Pierson of Kalamazoo, MI; two brothers John (Linda) Houser of Moravia, IA, Gary Lee (Shelley) Houser of Wamego, KS, one sister Linda C. Houser of Iowa Falls, IA.
