Richard Kenneth Grimes' Obituary
Richard Grimes, age 82, of Corydon, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Corydon Specialty Care.
Richard as born on May 16, 1940 in Cambria, Iowa, the son of Kenneth Maxwell Grimes and Edith Kathryn (Cardina) Grimes. He graduated from Corydon High School. He thoroughly enjoyed reading, and would have a book beside him any chance he got.
Left to honor Richard's memory are his sisters, Kathy (Ron) Levis of Rolla, Missouri and Corrina Darrah of Corydon, Iowa; two nieces, Kellie (Joe) Bales and Karrie Levis; two nephews, Andy (Minda) Darrah and Kevin (Melinda) Darrah; two great nieces, Jordyn and Rylie; as well as a host of extended family members.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Edith Grimes; his maternal grandparents, Angelina and Joseph Cardina; and his paternal grandparents, Robert (Vesta) Grimes.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Clio Cemetery in Clio, Iowa with Pastor LeRoy Perkins officiating.
