I remember Dicks kindness to me when I first moved here. I'd realized our dog was lost and got a call saying he was in Udell but I couldn't find it not being familiar with the area. I stopped at his home and he said I must really love that dog I said I did and he told me how to get to Udell. He always had a smile on his face and his kindness showed. It was a small act of kindness that I will never forget. He will be missed by all who knew and loved this kind man. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. With sympathy Dianna Roberts

Your dad and grandpa was one of those men who was a gem. He loved the Lord and people. I never recall him saying a bad word about anyone. I can still see him walking with his walking stick down the road. He'd wave and smile as if each car had a friend inside. May you all be comforted by your memories of your time with him❤️
