Rhonda Moriarty's Obituary
Rhonda Moriarty, 55, of Centerville passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Rhonda was born in Centerville to James & Genevieve (Garr) Campbell on July 28, 1961. She received her education from Centerville Schools. Rhonda and Leslie were together for 21 years and married in 2007. Rhonda worked as a CNA at Golden Age Care Center and Centerville Nursing & Rehab while her health allowed. She also prided herself as being a mother. She enjoyed watching Little House on the Prairie, collecting dolls and had a passion for her work. Rhonda was a people person, she found true enjoyment in helping others. Survivors include her husband Leslie Moriarty of Centerville, six children: Brad Campbell (Jennifer), Jeremy Campbell, Elizabeth Moriarty, Lucy Long (Donald), Tim Moriarty and Ty Husted, all of Centerville. She was also survived by six grandchildren, nine siblings: Russell Campbell of Unionville, Missouri, Ronnie Campbell of Centerville, Kenneth Campbell of Kirksville, Missouri, James Campbell of Centerville, Carol Anders of Corydon, Kim Beal (Austin) of Brazil, Randy Campbell of Centerville, Scott Campbell of Ankeny, Shane Campbell of Allerton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Tyler Campbell. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home - 501 N. 18th St. - Centerville, Iowa. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 26, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home.
