Remmington Wayne Rogers' Obituary
Remmington Wayne Rogers, age 8 months, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at UnityPoint Health- Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, Iowa.
Remmington was born on August 31, 2019 in Columbia, Missouri, the son of Jack Rogers and Katelynn "Katie" Brown. He was born two months early, so he spent the first month of his life in the NICU in Columbia.
Remmington had a very close relationship with his sister, Elaina. He loved playing with her, and watching her. He was starting to try to talk, and could say mom, but was still working on dad. Remmington could roll over, and he loved the color yellow.
Left to cherish Remmingtons memory are his parents, Jack Rogers and Katie Brown; his maternal grandparents, Angela (Al) Crosson, Christopher (Mary) Brown, Rick Jewell, and Lola Sleeth; his paternal grandparents, Justin (Elberta) Rogers; his sister, Elaina Lorraine Rogers; sixteen aunts and uncles, Lucrecia Kimm, Amanda Hildreth, Amy Ponx, Mark Summers, Ashley Brown, Madisen Brown, Harlee Crosson, Hailey Jewell, Lexi Jewell, Hailey Osgood, Ashley Aiello, Drake Aiello, Beckett Jewell, Brody Crosson, Kaylee Dean and Sadie Rogers; a special friend, Cody Earnhart; as well as many great grandparents and also a ton of family and friends that will be missing him.
Remmington was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Delbert Large Jr., Theresa I. Ford, and Jim and Jackie Adams.
According to family wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials have been established to the family of Remmington Rogers, and may be dropped off or mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Rogers family, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
