Rebecca Lynn Strode's Obituary
Rebecca Lynn Strode, age 40, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at her home in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Larry Cook and Sharon (Davis) Conn on March 13, 1968 in Davenport, Iowa. She received her education in the Centerville Community Schools and Indian Hills Community College in Centerville.On October 22, 1983, Rebecca was united in marriage to Mark Strode in Unionville, Missouri they would live for a while in Jerome, Iowa, but would later divorce. While getting her education, Rebecca found time to coach T-ball in Centerville, which was a great joy to her.She is preceded in death by: her maternal grandparents, Garold and Juanita Davis; and paternal grandparents, Larry and Cindy Cook.Rebecca is survived by: her parents, Sharon and her husband, Edward Conn of Centerville and Larry Cook of Centerville; her sons, Carl Leroy Pasco of Centerville and Travis John Weishaar of Centerville; a daughter, Brandy Strode of Centerville; sister, Kristina Stickler of Centerville; grandchildren, Ayden Lee Roush, Lealand Ryan Roush and Faith Lynn Pasco.Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008, at 1 pm, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Terry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 9 am till the time of services at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
