Ray worked at Performance Pipe in Bloomfield for 28 years, as a Supervisor. After Ray's retirement he started his house painting business, until moving to Lake of the Ozarks. In his free time, Ray enjoyed watching sports, especially the Chicago Bears, Iowa Hawkeyes and Caitlin Clark. He loved listening to music, spending time with his many dogs through the years, boating at Lake Rathbun for 25 years and hanging out at his home with friends and family. Ray enjoyed automobiles, especially Corvettes of which he owned 6 throughout his life. His last being in 2024 when he ordered his first new corvette. Ray was a caring person who was steadfast in his beliefs and had many friends. Ray wanted to be an organ donor to help others, but his body was riddled with cancer. They were able to donate his eyes, which filled his wishes to the best extent possible.
