Raymond Scott Nickell's Obituary
Raymond Scott Nickell, age 51 of Corydon, passed away, Monday, January 16, 2017 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
Raymond was born on August 25, 1965 in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Raymond and Darla (Darrah) Nickell. He grew up in Davenport, and was employed through the Hawkeye Paving, in Cordova, Illinois at their Nuclear Power Plant.
The last several years, diabetes controlled his life. While going through Dialysis, he moved to Corydon for help with doctors and nurses. He lived with his brother, Carl Nickell, and his parents.
Raymond is survived by his parents, Raymond and Darla Nickell of Corydon, Iowa; and a brother, Carl Nickell.
Per family request, Raymond will be cremated and there are no scheduled services at this time. Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville has been entrusted with caring for the family. Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.
