Ramona Mae Thomas' Obituary
Ramona Mae Thomas, age 84 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville, Illinois.
Ramona was born April 19, 1929 in Centerville to Versil & Thelma Davenport Clark. She married Paul L. Thomas June 5, 1949 in Centerville, and he passed away November 28, 2004. Survivors include: three sons: Charles (Fran) Thomas of Frisco, Texas, David (Shelley) Thomas of Loveland, Colorado, and Richard (Terri) Thomas of Fairmount, Illinois; six grandchildren: Nikki Thomas, Chris Thomas, Joel (Jasmine) Thomas, Lauren (Mike) Sattler, Jennifer (Jake) Tobison, and Megan Thomas; two special sister-in-laws: Jeanie (Joe) Pratte and Margaret Ann (Jim) Synder; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Ramona was active in the First United Methodist Church of Centerville and enjoyed reading & painting. She was devoted to her husband and family.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville from 10-11 AM. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 12 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Iowa. Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church in Centerville and may be given to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
