Phyllis Jean Williams Obituary's Obituary
Phyllis Jean Williams was born August 16, 1932 to Albert and Opal Smith of Leon, Iowa. Jean, as she was known by her family and friends, married Herbert Williams Jr. on September 23, 1948. She was a devoted wife, mother and sister. She lived several years in Leon where she worked as a nurse's aide. When she and her family moved to the Sewal and Seymour area she worked was a cook at the Seymour School until her retirement. She was always there to help anyone. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables in her garden. She loved the family reunions and was especially close to her sisters. Jean is survived by her children, Fonda McClure and husband Dick, Gordon Williams and wife Jeannine and Herb Williams III and wife Cheryl, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jr. Williams, grandson Billy McClure, great grandson Julian Williams, two sisters, two sisters-in-law, one brother and eight brothers-in-law.
