Phyliss A. Weaver's Obituary
Phyllis A. Weaver, age 67, of Glenwood, Missouri, formerly of Centerville, Iowa, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Twin Pines Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Albert and Wilma (Hayes) Shondel on June 26, 1936 in Centerville, Iowa. Phyllis attended Centerville Community Schools.On October 31, 1953, Phyllis was united in marriage to Vernon B. Weaver in Centerville, Iowa. During her lifetime Phyllis was a devoted homemaker.She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Vernon B. Weaver on January 22, 1992; and her sister, Nancy Davis.She is survived by: her special friend, Bill Shaw, of Glenwood, Missouri; her daughter, Shari Klindt of Ottumwa, Iowa; her son, Russell Weaver of Kissimmee, Florida; five brothers, Virgil, Larry and LaVerne Shondel all of Centerville, Iowa, Richard Shondel of Davenport, Iowa and Jerry Shondel of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Donna Dromey of Baring, Missouri and Charlotte Halladay of El Paso, Texas; as well as three grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2004 at 1:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Chaplain Norm Snowbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery north of Centerville, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2004 from 1:00 PM til 8:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa.
