Phil and Marcia were blessed with three children, Keith, Benjamen, Jennie and two grand children Ashram and Kira. Phil loved his family and never passed up a chance to support his children or grandchildren in their activities, whether it be a sports, music or dance event. He was always up for an adventure. He enjoyed camping, theme parks, sled riding and spending time with his brothers on the farm. Phil also had a competitive side. He was an avid racing fan whether it be Sprint Cars, Nascar or his personal passion of Drag Car Racing. He spent many hours fine turning his 1967 Nova for the drag strip. He had need for speed!
To the community, Phil was first and foremost, known as a business man, and those who developed a relationship with him realized he was a man defined by his values of fairness and strong work ethic. His employees were his extended family. Phil will be remembered for his love of life and grace in which he handled his illness, giving us hope in each new day. By example as a husband, father and friend, all these gifts will live on the legacy through his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and all those who knew him.
