Friends & Family Phil was a friend of our entire family for almost thirty years. I met Phil when he did insurance defense work when he first came to Alaska. At that time I was impressed with his honesty and integrity and superior intellect. Phil also handled murder prosecutions while at the AG's office. I am unaware of him ever losing a case in any courtroom endeavor. We did go fishing together with other friends several times. I particularly loved to go to his house and eat. His cooking was quite accomplished, and I am sure he contributed substantially to my being overweight. My wife and I had a standing order for his bread. We had numerous debates about many things, but I always had fun picking on him for his choice of the Cubs for a ball team favorite. I usually lost the other debates. We were sad when Phil left Anchorage, and are now even sadder. All of you need to understand that this world was a better place with Phil in it. My family cherishes his memory. The Dahlgren Family
