Peggie J. Wagner's Obituary
Peggie Jean Wagner, age 73, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Francis and Mildred (Dennis) Blair on January 3, 1936 in East Peoria, Illinois. She attended school in Peoria, Illinois.On April 9, 1952 she was united in marriage to Edward Wagner in East Peoria, Illinois. Peggie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville, Iowa. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Ella Mae Myers, and one in infancy.Peggie is survived by: her husband, Edward Wagner of Centerville, Iowa; daughters, Pennie and her husband, Wayne Hornback of Plano, Iowa, Catherine and her husband, Kevin Moore of Shepard, Montana, Angela Lucci of West Minister, Colorado; sisters, Betty Pasco of Spring Bay, Illinois, Carol Simmons of Branten, Florida, and Marie Flora of Metamora, Illinois, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Fr. Dennis Schaab, CPPS officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Centerville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 11:00 am till 1:00 time of service at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
