Pauline Augusta Deininger's Obituary
Pauline Augusta Deininger, age 87, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, January 17, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Pete and Augusta (Blazina) Morris on January 22, 1923 in Rathbun, Iowa. She received her education in both the Centerville Community Schools and Indian Hills Community College in Centerville.On August 21, 1952, Pauline was united in marriage to James H. Deininger in Unionville, Missouri. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centerville.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James H. Deininger; sisters, Katherine Bixler and Elizabeth Buban; a brother, Phillip Morris.Pauline was survived by: her sons, Harry and his wife, Joleta Deininger and Tony and his wife, Renate Deininger all of Centerville, Iowa; daughters, Patricia Corle and her husband, Barry of Loudon, Tennessee and Janice Steinlage and her husband, Tim of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Corle, Joy Clancy (Patrick), Justin Corle, Jim Houser (Layla), Terri Carlin (Roger), Maria Vinzant (Michael), Paul Deininger (Mersadie), Nathan Deininger, Rachel Deininger and Rebecca Deininger; great grandchildren, Madison and Haley Carlin, Emylee Houser and Ethan Vinzant.Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Fr. Dennis Schaab officiating. Burial of her ashes will be held at a later date in California.Memorials can be made to either the St. Mary's Catholic Church or to Drake Public Library and can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
